"⭐️☆☆☆☆ - A Total Disappointment: Bait-and-Switch with No Accountability! If I could rate Bear Valley Vacation Rentals lower, I would. My family and I were left in utter disbelief by our horrendous experience, one that has made me vow never to use their service again. We had meticulously planned our vacation and specifically booked a 6-bedroom property to accommodate our group. Imagine our shock and frustration when we discovered that we had been unceremoniously moved to a 3-bedroom unit that was not only significantly dated but had no view and was much smaller. The price of this unit was also much cheaper, but no compensation or refund was offered to us. To add salt to the wound, we were not informed of any of these differences in units by Bear Valley Vacation Rentals. We had to discover this discrepancy ourselves. When we brought the issue to their attention, the property manager Ginger responded with an extreme lack of empathy and professionalism. Her claim that the unit was "comparable" was not only absurd but downright insulting. There was no resemblance in quality, size, or value between the properties. The entire experience was a clear example of bait-and-switch, and Ginger's attitude only served to make the situation worse. Her rudeness and unprofessionalism were astounding, and her refusal to offer any form of compensation or even an apology was utterly unacceptable. Our vacation was ruined before it even started. We never got to stay in the property we booked, and we were left feeling cheated and disrespected. Bear Valley Vacation Rentals failed us in every conceivable way, from their dishonest business practices to their appalling customer service. I urge all potential renters to avoid Bear Valley Vacation Rentals at all costs. With them, you run the risk of not getting what you paid for, and their lack of integrity and customer care ensures that any problems you encounter will be met with indifference and disdain. Take your business elsewhere. Bear Valley Vacation Rentals is a lesson in frustration and disappointment that no one should have to learn the hard way."
