"Dave was outstanding… Just saw this for the first time after coming to the Waikaloa area for more than 10years. Called and spoke with Eddie and they just opened in February after relocating from Maui because of the fires. My wife got a great cover up, but while there I asked for something inspirational based on my experiences and love for the islands. Dave hooked me up and did a phenomenal freehand drawing on my arm before proceeding to complete a sensational tattoo that is some of the best work I have seen in a long time. He was quick in his work and very considerate about my ability to sit for the work. Outstanding and some of the best work I have seen or had done in some time. I will come back again on a future visit without hesitation. Definitely stop in and talk with them, you will be won over by the positive attitude and clean shop. These are artists that love their work!"

"Saw this new store while walking the Queen’s Shops in Waikoloa and reached out. Eddie answered and said he could handle a coverup so I was intrigued. He sent some sample art and I booked, only to find that his shop is exceptionally clean and the work outstanding. My old work was rough and the artist wasn’t enthused about doing it. Eddie was exactly the opposite and showed me sketches when I walked in as well as discussing colors and making adjustments. In the end I can’s see the original work and I am so pleased with the quality of his work. I would recommend him to anyone interested. Can’t say enough about the professionalism of the shop and willingness to accomodate."

"We just returned from an incredible vacation on the Big Island. A highlight of the trip was getting tattoos at the Skin Factory. We popped in on our first day on the Island so we could discuss our ideas with the tattoo artist. Dave and Eddie provided excellent customer service and answered all of our questions. We booked our appointments for our last day on the island (so that we could get all of our swimming in). Let it be known that both Dave and Eddie are incredible tattoo artists. We had five tattoos total. This is what I appreciated: The shop is immaculate We weren't rushed at all They answered all of our questions They blocked off plenty of time for our family They prioritized safety and education They were warm, welcoming, and friendly AND...they are crazy talented tattoo artists. What you may not know, is that this shop lost everything in the Maui fires last year. The are in the process of rebuilding their business. Even with so much adversity and loss, both Dave and Eddie are full of positivity and love. I wish I could give this shop 10 stars. We walked in as strangers, but we left feeling like we made friends. Our hats off to you, Dave and Eddie. You gave us amazing tattoos and incredible memories. We're fans of the Skin Factory. We'll see you on our next trip to the Big Island!"

"This was the BEST first tattoo experience! Eddie was so welcoming and explained the entire process throughout. He helped me feel comfortable, and he was so gentle in the process. I felt little to no pain, and he only took 25 mins at most. Insane talent! I am leaving with a tattoo that already makes me excited to come back and get another one. Eddie and Dave had such welcoming and good energy, the whole experience was a blast. Hoping to revisit for my next tattoo in 2025! Thank you so much Eddie!"
