Enterprise Rent-A-Car

"Pros: Great location to the Hilton Hawaiian Village if the other Enterprise doesn't have cars available. Also the front staff in the office were very nice and helpful. Cons: Even if you book ahead online, you still have to stand in multiple lines before getting your vehicle. One to check in and another to get your car. It would be nice to make this more efficient. Also, we were using our vehicle to go around the island. There is a lot to see and do, so the 5pm cut-off time to have the vehicle back in the return garage really becomes a problem. There is NO after hours drop off. You need to take into account refilling the gas and the traffic, as well as the time to stand in line at the beginning of your day, all of which eats into your time seeing the island. Imo, I wouldn't rent again thru enterprise. It's not worth it. I would go thru Turo or see if another rental agency has a late drop off."

"The front and staff here are very good and pleasant to deal with. We had booked a full-size sedan, but unfortunately they had run out of these cars. Therefore, they put us in a van. I specifically asked whether or not the van had Apple CarPlay. Unfortunately, the van that they provided did not even though they told me it did. Also, this Dodge Caravan was rather old and the entertainment system was barely functional. Overall, I would rent here again, but would be very specific with the vehicle that I would accept."

"I recently rented a vehicle from Enterprise in Honolulu Hawaii. I was so impressed with the staff from start to finish. Afterwards, I realized that we were missing a Ukulele and thought we may have missed it when cleaning out the vehicle upon return. I went to the desk and talked to Anderson. He checked with the staff and they didn't see it, but he said he would get in touch with me when he checked on other possibilities. He contacted me and said the vehicle had been rented out, but when it was returned they would check the vehicle again. Sure enough, he contacted me once again and let me know they found it. They mailed it back to me (at my expense) and I appreciated it so much. Thank you for the great customer service."

Problems always resolved with a smile and in the simplest way possible. Just rented from a location in Honolulu - same great service as at home in CA! Customer for life!"

"Received prompt emails from company with full details of charges and rules, before and after rental. A bit of a lineup when we picked up so think about your reservation time if you don’t like waiting. Staff were very patient and answered all our questions. Walking to the garage from their office was a bit of a maze (not a pretty building and old elevator) and pay attention to how you drive out of the garage because that is the way you will return (ie. behind the building up some levels). Car was in good shape and clean. Parking garage is not well-lit so we did walk-about around car exterior with cell phone flashlight. Excellent location if you are staying at Prince Waikiki Hotel. Highly recommend Enterprise."
