"Been trying for 2 weeks to get an estimate with the codes I provided to them. Called, could NOT get anyone on the phone. Requested the call back and it hung up on me after it took 7-1/2 hours for the call back, I emailed, and after the 5 business days they said it would take for someone to get back to me, I received nothing. I called emailed 2 more times, called for 2 days in a row holding for 30 minutes the first day and the second day it said it was a 30 minute- 2 HOURS later- still no answer. I don't think anyone works at HMSA but they sure take my $648/mo payment I make to them for insurance. I AM SO BEYOND!! I used to call and get someone without issues and got the code estimated on the phone but no longer. This like every other things since Covid has been the absolute WORST!!!"
"I understand how the company can be really busy assisting other customers, however when you sign up for a call back service and get a call, I'd expect someone to help me then. Waiting about 2 hours for the call back, and finally got it. It asked me if I wanted to speak to a rep. I'm still currently on hold for over 35 mins now. Why make a call back service if it's going to be useless. Disgusted."
"This is the best credit union since we began using it 25 years ago. It's the only banking system we have used for car loans, home equity, notary, savings, checking and savings. The employee's there know you. They are very helpful."
"Moved our dependents onto my wife’s plan 18 days ago and their systems are rejecting my son’s prescriptions because it still hasn’t updated the him onto our plan. HMSA is closed so there’s no phone support and now we can’t get the medicine needed. Typical incompetence and sloppiness from a poorly run company. To respond to your response, HMSA: That does not address the issues that I faced and waiting on hold for 3 hours or taking time out of my busy day to tell HMSA to do something that should have already been done, does not fix the issue. Your answer tells me that you’re satisfied with how your business runs, but my experience and the 1.4 star rating that you have, tell another story. Do better. It’s not good enough."
"0 stars. I've been on hold with HMSA for over 3 hours! I've even opted to recieve a call back when it is my turn in line, this is ridiculous. I would try to work on my claim online, that is if I could add my plan! I'm unable to add my plan in my account due to their birthdate entry malfunctioning. I'm beginning to think they're making it extremely difficult to contact anyone from HMSA so that you cannot ask any questions regarding your insurance claims. I'm disgusted."
