"I opened my bike box after flying from Victoria to Maui with Air Canada on Thursday morning only to find that my Emonda frame was cracked - meaning my bike was unuseable. My husband and I are in Maui for 5 weeks like last year. I couldn’t imagine not riding for 5 weeks! After this discovery we went to South Maui Cycle and Jeffrey, the manager, confirmed what we already knew. After many tears and unbecoming anger, my husband and I went back to South Maui Cycle to talk about a bike rental for the 5 weeks. At that time Jeffrey and Zack told us they had a used Demone frame in my size. They suggested that they could switch frames and put my components on the Demone frame. This suggestion would cost me less than renting a bike for 5 weeks! We decided to go with that idea. I was able to pick up my Demone bike by Friday afternoon. 24 hours after first walking in the store! I can’t put into words how much their effort meant to me. I now have a great bike to ride in Maui thanks to Jeffrey and Zack. I would highly recommend this bike shop to anyone wanting a store that goes the extra mile."
