"What a great surprise as a visitor to the city. The museum and garden are all very well maintained and informative. Everyone provided lots of info and was very polite. Awesome. 5 stars!"
"Awesome place to walk around and explore the beginnings of southern Nevada and its native plants, vegetation and animals and history. From the indoor museums to the outdoor trails, plants, trees and flowers along with a butterfly exhibit which is seasonal! Definitely a must see!!"
"Enjoyed Black History. My 6 year old daughter had a ball with the arts and crafts stations. The food truck selection was great! I only intended on staying a couple hours and stayed from open 10 am to close 4pm."
"This is a great place to come with your family! They host events that are lovely like the black history festival my daughters and I attended recently. They also have a nice playground for the kids, and the bathrooms are clean. There is a cafe with reasonable prices located inside. There are many paths to go hiking and several museums located on the premises. The festival features live performances and music on the stage. They had chairs near the front of the stage and plenty of areas to sit with the grass carpet. During the festival, the parking was full inside, but we found parking right across the street at the church. The attendants were really nice and we enjoyed ourselves."
"Really enjoyed the museums and gardens at the preserve. Good place to spend an afternoon, great staff and volunteers. The animal and insect exhibits at the State museum were unexpected, and we lucked out that the fox had just woken up from his nap."
