"First thing you walk in your welcomed with aloha when you come to and get your cut with kainoa. Air conditioned shop makes it super comfy specially on hot summer days. Hardly ever had to wait for my turn when I come in for my appt which is awesome! Plus super easy to book online. Very easy to talk to when it comes to getting your idea for your haircut and doesn't sell you on different haircuts if you already know what you want. Every fade I've gotten whether it be a high top fade, burst fade or taper is always clean,crisp and well blended in. Kainoa always lines you up with the straight razor before leaving. Also Barber chair he has reclines so no breaking your neck when he is lining you up. My go to barber hands down when it comes to pride in his work and 100% effort every cut. "First impression, I found the barber shop very relaxed, clean and well ventilated. The barber seat is the first thing you see when you walk in the door. Manned by Kainoa, a friendly, confident, and extraordinary talented barber. His work is that of an artist, his hands seem to waste no movement as he performs something he clearly takes pride in doing. It seems like there is nothing too difficult for him as he performs his mastery. I think you would be hard pressed to find a barber as personable and skillful as Kainoa. Scheduling was really simple, text and he will promptly reply back with an opening. Finding a barber with this skillset is difficult anywhere, so I am happy to call Kainoa my barber on Kauai. For the first couple months on Kauai I couldn’t find a barber who I trusted with my long hair, but Kainoa’s portfolio showed that not only did he know what he was doing in that regard, but he was damn good at it.
