"Born of the Water went above and beyond to provide me the most unforgettable shopping experience. During my last day in Oahu, I made an effort to visit their new location. As luck would have it, the store was closed by the time I arrived. I reached out via IG DM and Ka Nani responded to my inquiry almost immediately. When she learned that I wasn’t local, she offered to send over photos of their swimwear offerings based on my size, color, and size preferences. What I thought would be a couple of IG messages with snapshots of popular pieces, ended up being a personalized consultation complete with a “virtual” fitting. Ka Nani’s attention to detail is next level. Aside from remembering my style preferences, she was able to determine what specific pieces were the right fit and most flattering for my unique body type. Shortly after processing my payment, I received my bikini in the mail. When I went to go try on the pieces, I was completely in awe… they fit PERFECTLY. I often associate feelings of impending doom when shopping for bikinis. Ka Nani’s expertise paired with her genuine commitment to make me feel like my best self, quickly dispelled those anxieties. As an avid supporter of local and independent businesses, I can’t recommend Born of the Water enough.
