"DO NOT COME HERE. This practice should be shut down by the board of health. I should have listened to the reviews and considered the pictures posted online. But I wanted to support a local Filipino business. The reviews are right. This place is filthy. The bathroom is gross. There are denture models strewn everywhere, stains on walls, dirty towels on the floor to soak up liquids, etc. Not only is the place and equipment ancient but do they have to be filthy!!? The dental assistant didn’t know what to do when I asked for water. It seemed she was flummoxed by my request and had to ask permission because she left. Come to find out I couldn’t clean my face after the cleaning because they had no running water in the gross sink next to the chair. They gave me water from a plastic bottle. The dentist told me to close my eyes during the cleaning because of flying debris! I had to ask for eye protection. She pulled it out from who knows where. She was careless about liquids running down my face & neck. And when I wanted to clean up after, I couldn’t because of the lack of running water. What third world practice! Then she said that she gave me a very good cleaning, like I owe her. But isn’t that what she’s supposed to do as a dentist? The dentist told me to lie to the surgeon she recommended for a wisdom tooth extraction. She walked into the room talking and looking at the x-rays. She didn’t look at me to introduce herself. Halfway through the cleaning, she asked if I was a new patient!!? I told the above to the office personnel. I also told her that my husband needs a dentist also but I am not sending him here. I went home to shower to scrape off whatever germs I got from this place. I hope I didn’t catch anything because I bled a little bit."

"As a longtime customer of coming here, I had an extremely bad experience only due to canceling an appointment. The extremely rude and selfish lady on the phone told me we did not leave a message however we have called MULTIPLE TIMES before and they did not answer. She would say on the phone that it was a “no show” and would have to charge us 50 dollars! As we were explaining our point of view she continued to talk over us trying to show hers. She dared to talk over us and it shows how unprofessional this place is. She even continues to say “I AM THE BEST ONE U CAN COME TO SO IF YOU DON’T WANT TO COME HERE THAT'S FINE!” which proves how selfish she is. She is not the best. She was the only one available! As a business in the medical department, it's very unprofessional and created a hostile environment toward the customer. Do not come to this place. Instead report it and shut it down!"

"Don't go to this place!! My mom wasn't feeling well, feeling dizzy (she is diabetic and has high blood pressure) and they called her the day before her scheduled appointment to ask if she is still going. My mom said she isn't feeling well and they said she can't cancel her appointment. Then they told us she had to call a week prior to cancel the appointment, like what the hell! How do you know if in a week you don't feel well. They even told me the doctor will no longer see my mom and for her to find another dentist. I understand the time was reserved for my mom but they should consider that she did tell them a day prior when they did there check up call, she told them she wasn't feeling well and they could've called other patient's to feel in the opening but no they told her she can't cancel. Never in my life have I ever heard of a doctor not wanting to see a patient because she wasn't feeling well on her appointment and was trying to cancel the day before the appointment but was told no she couldn't."

"PLEASE READ!!! AVOID Sunshine Dental at ALL COSTS! I endured a horrific experience at this office and wouldn't wish the misery I now live with on even the worst of my enemies. I truly wish I had read the negative Yelp reviews before making the unfortunate decision to be seen there. PLEASE do not make the same mistake. Again, STEER CLEAR of Sunshine Dental as if it were The Plague!"

"I dont know why theres a bad review. Dr. Mesinas was helpful and compassionate to my mother and helped her get new dentures! My mom had Quest insurance that only allows to pull out the teeth and at the consult she gave her info to a insurance. After she got signed up, a few weeks my mom got her new dentures. Thank you doctor cause I my mother mouth not in pain from old dentures cutting it up!"
