"The customer service with owners Diane and her father at Maui Upholstery in Haiku was amazing. From the beginning Diane was very communicative, friendly and willing to do what she could to help. They’re even willing to come and pick up the furniture so you don’t have to bring it in yourself. I needed my dinner table bench seat and wrap around bench seat with attached backrest reupholstered as the material was bubbling, tearing and breaking down. She suggested marine seat vinyl to prevent molding or breakdown, since we live in Haiku, and was able to give us a very fair price. We were able to match the material almost exact and loved all the sample material you could look at inside the shop. Made me feel better there was variety for lower price choices and premium choice material for a higher price. It was a great decision to move forward because we love what they did and made it look and feel brand new again. It only took about 3 weeks to finish, which I wish would’ve been 1 week. It is Maui so I understand it takes a long time for an end product, but it was definitely worth the wait. I would highly recommend using Maui Upholstery for your upholstery needs as the service and quality are absolutely amazing! But make sure to get started quick as the turnaround could take some time depending on what it is you need done and if they have the material you wish to use in house already.
