"Delicious, fresh poke. Had very simple, tasty flavors. Very friendly staff."
"The food was super tasty and traditional Hawaiian (as far as I can judge). I was super excited about trying casual and traditional Hawaiian food. The lau pork was super tender and tasty. The haupia was delicious. Plenty of locals stopped by, which is always a great sign. Their banana bread is super moist, sweet and flavorful, also cheaper than most other places. It is inside a food court, so there is chairs and tables around to seat and eat."
"Closest thing you will find to having Hawaiian food cooked by a Hawaiian family. It literally is! Authentic, onolicious and they have weekly specials. Squid luau dish served on Fridays! Got the laulau and kalua pork mixed plate with poi, lomi-lomi and haupia. One serving was enough for me and my partner to enjoy! Great value and great prices for great food!"
"Excellent and tasty authentic Hawaiian local food. We ordered the Hawaiian ahi poke salad bowl with oriental wasabi dressing. It was refreshing and crisp. The squid luau and pork laulau mixed plate was flavorful. The squid luau with taro leaves was creamy and if you like it in the sweet side, it’d perfect. The pork laulau was moist and the taro leaves lent a fresh taro flavor to the pork. We had the option to choose sweet potato poi instead of the taro. I liked that more as it was less dense and fermented with a sweeter taste. Last but not least, the apple banana bread was airy but not overly sweet. One of the best banana breads for $7."
