Big Island Pizza Napoletana

"Not sure if it’s a bad day for them or not but we walked in at 2 (they close at 3) and wanted to order something to go. Just walking in we heard one of the workers mumbling something about not being done until after 3, they seemed very irritated. Then we had a different lady finally come up to us to see if we’d like to dine in or order to go. We said to go and she said that the pizza won’t be done until three. This was a clear sign they didn’t want our business. My suggestion would be to stay professional and if you aren’t ok with making a pizza up until closing time then you should stop taking orders at a certain time before closing."

"A true Neopolitan pizza. I was blown away at how delicious their pizza was. I got the margarita and it was perfectly light, crisp, and balanced. Owners were also super friendly and thoughtful. Would highly recommend to anyone in the mood for great pizza."

"I had the best pizza of my life here. This is not an exaggeration. I'm not familiar with regional differences of Italian pizza. All I know is the pizzas we had here were amazing. The crust is so thin and perfectly crispy. The toppings and base sauces were delicious. The whole pizza had this smoky aroma that is so irresistible. There are also so many different flavours that I had never tried or seen before. We had the spinach pesto with Italian sausage and the spinach caramelized onion pizzas. I could see my order was freshly baked in a wood fire oven and that speaks for itself. The owner was very friendly. Service wouldn't be quick as the pizzas are made fresh. But, it is worth the wait."

"Pizza here was pretty good! This is probably the best pizza you'll find on the island. I really liked the Margherita and the Big Island Pizza. Solid crispy crust and even with the toppings on the Big Island the pizza doesn't flop at all. My only critique is I kind of wish the 12 inch was a bit larger or if they had another size offering up. It comes out slightly smaller than a traditional Neapolitan pie in my opinion."

The topping options were really unique and well curated—it made deciding what to get hard because there were so many good options. It’s wood oven pizza too, which is great! The interior is pretty sparse, but I would still come back for the pizza any day!"
