Willie's Hot Chicken

"oh wow, the chicken is GREAT. one of the best fried chicken ever had. there are levels of hotness you can choose from. I have high tolerance so i went for the white hot which is the second highest level of the heat on the menu of 100-350k scoville unit, compares to a level down only 10% of the heat, or the level up of 10x more heat, i think this is great for people who likes/can eat spicy. the spicy powder dusted on top so if you really can't take it you can just peel the outside layer off to take some heat off. The chicken is crispy on the outside and meat is still juicy. there's a long line but it moves fast. i didnt wait very long on a busy weekend night. finding a table is bit challenging just have to wait, there are indoor, outdoor and bar seatings available."

"OK - READY? WOW! This place is very cool. More importantly it was delicious. We went twice. My only regret is that they ran out of Tie Dyes that say - “Have a Willi good Day.”"

"The best aspect of eating here was the great service! Everyone was incredibly nice. I got the tenders, fries and frozen mai tai. My boyfriend got the chicken sandwich. Everything was delicious and WILLIE good. The only thing we didn’t love was the side salad but who loves a side salad? Would go back!"

"Stopped in at Willie’s for a bite on our way back to the airport. Nice spot next to a few other restaurants with adequate parking available. They have great outdoor seating which I appreciated. Chicken was overall tasty and they have gluten free options for folks who need it (although not quite as tasty). We went with the chicken tenders and one of the sandwiches. Both plates were size able, which is good given the price isn’t “cheap” by any means for some chicken. The thing that let me down the most was the potato salad which I have to say was just bad. It was bland and lacked some sweetness or just some kick. I usually am a fan but this was not good and neither of us finished ours. Would avoid that and go for the mac n cheese or something else."

"Worth a stop just to look at all the art on the walls! We went to check out where the live music would be....grabbed a tender and pickled Great chicken, pickled are well worth a dollar also. Local fun stop. Fast paced and busy. We came back in the evening It was packed with action and great people. Everyone should stop here!"
