"Do not ride! I took a scooter 1 mile through Waikiki and was charged $8 - fine. I am fine with that price, though high. 3 days later I got ann anlert on my credit card for another $20 charge for NOTHING! I haven’t touched a scooter since the first time riding it. I am trying to dispute it through the app but can’t get a response."
"You’ve been warned . Worst company. We were on vacation in Honolulu and my family wanted to ride scooters to dinner after arriving to our restaurant we parked the scooters close to our restaurant and canceled the rides in the app. After checking my account for some reason I had a $150 charge from this company. So I looked up in the app to see why because I couldn’t get a hold of anyone at the company. It looked like one of the scooters was driven for 6 hours. I can only guess one of them was not locked so someone stole it and drove it that long but side note. I remember double checking to make sure it was canceled so I don’t know how it wasn’t. We reported this and told them that it was not a charge that we used. The company said it was a legitimate charge. Why are we trying to get something for free. Didn’t understand that comment but I moved on telling them. Why would one of us drive for 6 hours without the other 3 scooter on vacation and the other three was not used. it just doesn’t make sense. Plus we have tracking on our phones which shows we were at our hotel the whole time we weren’t even close to that scooter and the path it took. We reported it to our bank for fraud and hoping resolution will be soon with them because this company doesn’t care."
"Scooters were fun to ride with friends. You need to download the app to unlock. It wasn’t working from google on our end. Watch out for the busy roads in Waikiki. Otherwise was fun!"
"Really fun to ride and nice to see that electric scooters are still being used. I think it’s really smart that they have designated parking areas to keep them close by altogether. Stance was different from regular scooters, but was easy to get used to. Super fun!!"
"BEWARE! BE CAREFUL IF YOU USE APPLE/GOOGLE PAY! Used the scooters in May, fast forward almost 6 months later and I got a notification that I was charged a surge fee from them since I had used apple pay. The company now forever has access to my digital wallet through some sort of loophole, and when searching online there are multiple threads of this happening to people. Had to discontinue my apple pay through my bank so this company cannot keep charging me. Go X also never replied to my email addressing this issue. Honestly a clever scam, but still a really annoying and messed up one at that. Be careful if you use your digital wallet!"
