"Excellent fabric store. I will say the staff was very friendly and helpful and want to mention this specifically as a lesbian since there are others that mention other experiences. They have a good selection of nice quality fabrics and designs. They also have remnants and fat quarters if you just want a piece of something small. Highly recommend if you sew!"

"Quaint family store with super friendly staff. The store will be a 100 years old in 2026. It is filled with a wide variety of fabrics. They have an especially cute selection of Japanese prints. I purchase a mini Hawaiian quilt kit, and pattern/fabric to make a muumuu. All was reasonably priced. I was surprised that they carry shiseido skincare products. Street parking may be tough, but there are free public lots a couple of stores down."

"When you go to this fabric store and you think you may be buying too much fabric but believe me once you get back to the mainland or to any of the other islands you'll wish you would've bought more. Some of the most beautiful Hawaiian and Asian fabrics that I've ever seen And at reasonable prices. I'm considering making a trip to the big island just to go here again."

"There is a very small and cute town in the Kona area. H. Kimura is in Kearakekua. I have a special project and H. Kimura Store was a great help choosing the materials. I visit fabric shops, but each shop has its unique character of collections. You cannot decide easily, they have a wonderful selection! I highly recommend stopping by if you are looking for some fabrics."
