Reviews
"Sometimes, there are some deals here, but, usually just overpriced junk. Example, no name brand, used, likely worn out 20 gallon Stainless steel shop vac, $100.00. Costco, just a few blocks away, brand new, same size Stainless steel Dewalt shop vac, $99.00. Why even chance the used junk? Example 2, old used, definite signs of wear, 3 seat cloth covered couch(at the Re-Store) $600.00! Similar, brand new nicer couch @ Costco, 599.00. Didn't find anything I might even want this time there, but, have found stuff in the past."
"I like this store a lot, but living on Hilo-side makes it almost impossible to visit during the week due to work. I would LOVE if the hours of the store were adjusted to include any time on the weekends. Even just like 12pm-3pm on Saturdays would be amazing. The couple of times I’ve made it in I had a great time and found cute things to bring home. I love supporting second-hand shops like this."
"Refused brand new blinds. Other restores accept them, assuming they didn't think they were new (still in packaging) or didn't feel like dealing with it (likely as there were two guys working were on their phones when I came in). Oh well, went to Salvation Army who was happy to accept them. Not the first time this restore has been a little sketchy"
"Well they are really NOT a home improvement store. They only want furniture. Piles of junk around the outside looks awful. List your building material for free elsewhere."
