Pau Hana Poke

"Fantastic Poke selection, let’s just start with that! Me and some colleagues were headed to Kona for the afternoon and needed to grab lunch before our first meeting. We were thinking fast food options as we needed something quick, but after some rapid research I found this spot as it was fairly close to the airport and in the area where our meetings were. It’s got a “hole-in-the-wall” vibe to it… no frills! There’s no indoor seating, but a couple plastic benches to sit on outside. The service team were very friendly and offered their recommendations on what to try. I ordered to #1 Hapaha with the Shoyu Poke, Kim Chee, and seaweed (Ocean) salad. All of it was amazing! I really wanted to try the Tako poke, but I’ll have to save that for the next time. Honestly though, I want to try all of it, at one sitting! Anyways, I highly, HIGHLY recommend this joint! It’s what the locals call da kine!!!"

"Although there is some outdoor seating, not really a place to come and sit down to eat. Despite that, there is a good variety of seafood and sides, which are all fresh and well seasoned, and the portion worth the price. During my stay in Kona, my friends and I came here multiple times. I will say this is absolutely the best tuna I've had in my life!"

"The best poke I've had. Spicy ahi with kimchi cucumber and onions. It's a small take out spot with some delicious ahi that'll make you want to return."

"Stopped on our way to the airport. The poke selection was great and incredibly good. Fresh and flavorful. Unique tasty sides not the standard Mac salad. Some of the best poke we have had. A great last meal before heading home."

"This place is a little ways away from Kona town but very close to Costco. We went mid-week and found no lines. We were able to walk right up and order and take our poke around the corner to eat outside on some picnic tables. Super friendly and fast service. The poke was good but the sides were a little lacking for my taste. I would have liked to have had a mac salad or something a little different the offerings. Worth a visit if nearby."
