"OVERALL EXPERIENCE: I'd come back for the Lavender Hot Coffee and Service!!! The food was also good! ORDERED: - Lavender Hot Coffee: delicious! not overpowering, and just the right amount of lavender! They also offer free refills (which I thought was really nice!). - Paniolo Breakfast, with Portuguese Sausage: plenty of food and was a good comfort breakfast! I wish they offered a white rice SERVICE: Service was exceptional! The bathrooms are clean and just outside in another building within the complex. PRICE: ~ $20pp PARKING: there is a private lot in the back, as well as street parking. Food: 4/5 stars Service: 5/5 stars Venue: 4/5"
"So good!! My sister was just looking for vegetarian restaurants and we’d never been here before on our many trips to Maui. Our party is 1 vegan, 1 vegetarian, and 3 omnivores, and everyone loved it! The place is pretty small, and we showed up at 11:50 for lunch and there were no tables available for a party 5, but Shannon at the register helped find us a place. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast the food came out even though they were quite busy! And it was all delicious and large portions. My mom got a half portion of the soba noodle salad with tofu, and it was still a ton of food. The vegan chili (can get cheese on top or not) was really good, and they crumbled the tofu so it is pretty indistinguishable from a “meat” chili. The Arnold Palmer was delicious, and they offered to make it with hibiscus tea instead of the default black iced tea. The rest of the party ordered Makawao melts and 1 tuna melt. We’re definitely going to be back! I really want to try the vegan options for breakfast."
"Great breakfast food options. I chose the home-made granola and it was very good. We also had the French toast which was thick slices and seasoned with cinnamon. Great artsy little town in Maui. Highly recommended to get away from the beach crowd or go after sunrise at Halieka."
"We were not expecting to find such a fabulous spot for lunch in the middle of the mountain. It was fantastic and they offer different type of cuisines from tacos, curry, salad… We both had a super tasty red curry with coconut milk. They also make their own kombucha! Amazing! Highly recommend if you’re around and want a nice lunch full of flavours."
"Best coffee in Makawao by a long shot! We ate here several times during our stay and were never disappointed. The service is great! The first time in, we sat at the bar and one of the kitchen staff stopped to chat. He asked which fruits we had tried so far, and when we told him we hadn't tried guava yet, he plucked one out of a fruit basket and split it for us to try. When you arrive, you order at the register and then seat yourself. Seating inside and outside are both relaxed and comfortable. All the food was great."
