"The shop was well set up and had some nice options for desserts. It all went downhill with the service, though. I was excited about the ice cream flavors and wanted to try some before I committed to a double-scoop of 2 flavors, but the notorious man refused to give us ANY free samples. Even the Waikiki shops give you 2 samples! Dejected, I chose to get just 1 scoop of a flavor I knew I'd like instead of exploring more risky and exciting ones. During payment, he swiped the card himself behind the counter and asked us directly if we wanted to add a tip to the payment, making it really awkward to say "no" and also not making it clear what he actually punched in for the tip. You'd think with us being the only customers in the store on a very rainy night that he would be trying to get us happy and eager to buy as much as possible. At least the ice cream was pretty good, but we left confused and feeling taken advantage of. We would have to be pretty desperate for dessert before going back to this shop."

"The guy who served me was friendly. That’s about the highlight of this place. Ordered the Rocky Road, not single nut in it. Way too sweet and for what I got, disappointed, the price was too high. So far my only bad experience on Maui. Some other guy in MC gear showed up, charm free, he might be the owner."

"We really enjoyed the ice cream at this place, although the reviews about the gentleman working the counter seem to be true. He comes off a little grumpy but he was very nice to us. He is a local now and he is from another country, so the culture must be different for him. The flavors of ice cream are very local based.. but they were tasty, and the prices were about what you would expect on maui. We would definitely go back, but our vacation is coming to an end."

"Really fun ice cream shop in Kihei! So many options to choose from - I got the Oreo cookie crunch which was delicious! Yummy cone options too. My in-laws come here multiple times a year, every time they visit Maui. The owner was very friendly & holds a Guinness world record!"

"Cool little ice cream shop. They have a lot of really yummy unique flavors with really sweet and tasty chunks of this and that. They seem to have a wide selection of soft serve flavors as well but haven't tried that yet. Cones are really yummy too, highly recommend! Atmosphere is hit or miss with the Owner, he seems like he can be really cool but can definitely come off grumpy."
