Buzz's Original Steak House

"Spoiler: ITS RAW! Went here to celebrate with friends. Ordered some wine, which they were out of. I got a more expensive bottle, and we all ordered 5 entrees total. My wife’s steak was disgusting looking. She asked for it to be cooked well done. This is the picture attached. My steak was supposed to be medium rare, but was actually raw. I still ate it, but I felt sick after. My friend didn’t eat her steak, as it wasn’t pink, but all red as well. I’m talking like borderline blue. The only thing cooked well was the fish, which my other friend loved. The servers were all sweet, but one lady who worked there, who was not my server told me that the dish in the picture was in fact, well done. Not sure why she tried to argue with me. The vegetables on my plate were cold. The mashed potatoes were lumpy. I’ve gone here before a few months ago on a date with my wife where I reserved the presidents table and it was very good. Not sure how the quality fell so far. This meal and service WAS NOT worth $340."

"This is a nice place. Found out a few famous people have eaten here. Our waitress was great. Made it a fun dinner. You probably need to make a reservation out you might not be able to get in if you just drive up. It’s a chance. The food was good."

"Great location, excellent customer service and food was fantastic. They told us it would be a 1 hr wait, they served us cocktails while we waited outside and were seated within a half hr. We had 4 excellent meals and cocktails were decent but not incredible. Definitely would recommend a visit here, worth the stop."

"The calamari steak is by far the best I’ve had anywhere, period. No one has the same style or the sauce that goes on top so it can’t be matched by anyone. The burgers were very good and the so were the fries. The frozen coconut mojito (Deez Nuts) was bomb. Super cool location as well."

"Once again, Buzz’s Kailua did not disappoint. Six of us went to lunch: three of us ordered the scampi salad and two ordered the Jack Daniels burgers. The oddball ordered an Ahi wrap. Lol. Everyone loved their food. We had a lovely gentleman, I think his name is Josh, as our server. And, as always, the atmosphere was lovely. Sitting on the open air, and I across from the beach is inherently peaceful. Btw, I know bringing those pumpkins in and out every day is a lot of work, but they look really cute and festive!"
