"Bruh…the line cooks DID NOT USE GLOVES!!! I was so disgusted watching the 2 uncles in the back grab our bread for our cheeseburgers then spread the Mayo before slapping it together with both hands before wrapping. Not hygienic at all!!! Why people why?!? I told the cashier and she said she didn’t see it. We asked for a new burger with gloves and watched them prepare it! The food is garbage! It had the consistency of cardboard. This place is cheap but definitely not worth the potential for getting sick! This was my first time here and the ‘ohana wanted to try it! Never again! You have been warned!"

"Wasn’t that impressed. I got the Japanese Deluxe Plate. It came with a decent amount of entrees, but most of it was Teri beef. And the teri beef had the taste and texture of beef jerky. The sashimi and tempura were ok, and the chicken was pretty good. The 2 scoop rice were tiny though. All in all it wasn’t a very impressive plate for the price they’re charging."

"Had an event in the area so we stopped by this iconic local drive in for dinner. We of course ordered the Japanese Plate Deluxe, which was $1 off (until Dec 24th), so instead of $12.50 it was only $11.50! What a deal even without the discount! What other plate lunch has sashimi, mochiko chicken, teri beef AND tempura?! It was definitely like a mini buffet that won't break your wallet! We also ordered a Loco Moco off the breakfast menu (cool that you can order this at night) but it could've definitely used more gravy. Other than that, winner winner chicken dinner!"

"Good budget meal plate lunch. Look for coupons in local Star Advertiser paper. Takes credit cards with $10 min but no Apple Pay. Has own parking lot and shaded booth seating. Andrew Zimmerman recommended Japanese plate lunches."
