"First time visit, and I have to say that this is the place to go for bbq. I had the chicken and ribs plate. Both were flavorful and juicy. I was also very satisfied with the sides. My husband got the smoked lamb and that was also delicious. The desserts were really good too."

"Food is great! Checked out this bbq place and tried their brisket, pulled pork, and ribs. We don't have too many bbq places on the island so it's nice to know that I can drive over the Koolaus for some good bbq. The brisket was fall apart good, the pulled pork was tender and flavorful, and the ribs had just the right chew and seasoned perfectly. I tried both the mustard vinegar sauce and the spicy guava sauce. I liked both but wished they had like an "original" type bbq sauce. The service was excellent, food came out fast. Will definitely be heading here again for some good bbq."

"This was some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. From any location, anywhere in the country! Burnt ends were perfect! Brisket was fantastic. Smoked wings were awesome. Pulled pork sandwich was divine. The smoked Mac & Cheese…dreamy and delicious. Staff was attentive and friendly. Zero complaints! Whiskey Smoke needs to franchise! This was THE best food eaten on Oahu all week."

"We could tell by the smell when we walked in the door that these folks knew how to make great food. The staff is knowledgeable and excited to share details about how their foods are prepared. We ordered a Brisket plate ($27) which includes two sides. We chose Smoked Mac n Cheese and Elotes. This also included one sauce and we chose their Coffee Bourbon BBQ sauce. This is a tasty sauce but this brisket does not require any sauce at all as it’s full on smoky amazing all by itself. It cuts with a fork without any effort. I cannot imagine a more perfect brisket anywhere. The Elotes is crisp with a wonderful flavor. The Smoked Mac n Cheese has a full cheesy smoky flavor with a tasty crisp topping. This is one of the better Mac n Cheese we’ve tasted. We also ordered a Whiskey & Coke Teri Burger with fries ($16.64). This burger is very flavorful and juicy and is exceptional. Usually if a BBQ restaurant has a burger on the menu, it’s good but not necessarily notable. This burger is more than notable…it’s worth going to this restaurant specifically for. This is one magnificent burger and one of the best…maybe the best we have had. We highly recommend this restaurant."
