I had the chicken katsu curry made the mistake of getting the regular size and it was A LOT of food. small size is good enough for one person the portions and prices are reasonable definitely coming back when we visit next year."

"After visiting the nearby botanical gardens I was starving and in need of some good food. This was the first time visiting an L&L restaurant and it is what got me hooked on the chain. The menu is expansive with so many options to choose from. Between two people we decided on a "Bar-B-Que mixed plate" and a "Kalua pork with cabbage" meal. The portion sizes were huge and it meant we had enough left over for dinner. Each meal came with rice, macaroni salad and the mains. The Kalua pork with cabbage was delicious. There was so much flavour and it was cooked to perfection. They were very generous with the amount of meat in the meal. The Bar-B-Que mixed plate included short ribs, chicken and teriyaki steak. Each was as delicious as the other but the flavour of the steak was a winner. The person taking our order was friendly and efficient at what he was doing. The dining room is very casual and no frills. I would absolutely recommend L&L for anyone in Hawaii wanting good food!"
