"Had a great experience with Marvin at the tire center. Both Marvin and Chad helped me out and were incredibly positive. If you get a flat don’t use fix a flat . Costco has best deal on tires on the island"
"The stars are falling! This time it was my personal vehicle that needed a new set of shoes as they were nearing 7-years of age and showing signs of age with numerous hairline cracks on the tread. THE PROCESS: There's always a sale on tires at Costco. I jumped online, researched intensely and decided on four Michelins (Primacy MXM4's to be exact, with installation totaling $839.45). The tires arrived in 12 days in which I also received an email and phone call from the shop. Reservations were two days out. EXPERIENCE: Park in the marked tire shop stalls to the left of the garage. Their exterior entry door is no longer used so you have to go into the warehouse and cut through the cash registers to access the tire shop. Tommy assisted me (I've known him for years so of course service was excellent!) I was given an approximate installation time of an hour in which they bested by five minutes. Being that it was nighttime, I couldn't inspect my rims to check for any damage as I keep them in pristine condition, though I did notice they were covered in a Crisco-looking substance. The next day is when my worst fears came true as I went to clean my rims. I thought there might be damage by the machine that installs the tires on the rim but low and behold it was by human carelessness. Two of them have nicks on them from the lug nut gun, with one having additional damage to the lip of the rim by the center cap in which they made an actual crease in it with some tool. From afar they look fine but knowing that the damage is there by the negligence of humans is what makes me mad. You can obviously see that my rims have no "curb rash" on them so treat them accordingly!? OVERALL: They have a free first rotation and lug nut-tightening but you can bet I won't be subjecting my car to any further damage."
"The employees here at the tire center are the best! They really go above and beyond to help with whatever your needs are. They're very busy, but in spite of that, they seem to really care and take the time to get you what you need."
"They don't warrenty tires like anyone I've ever known before. I was a tune-up, Brake, Suspension, and Wheel Alignment mechanic for approximately 8 years. I spent 4 years of that was working for two different tire companies. I believe I was lied to and ripped off. We put tires on our Pilot in CA and then moved to Maui in 2020. One of the tires got a belt separation less than a year ago, and they refused to warranty it because I had not gone back to Costco for all the tire rotations. We ended up buying 4 new 70k mile tires because of some sidewall cracking along with the road hazard as we have always done. I had a tire losing air a couple of weeks ago, and with only 3k miles and less than a year, they told me a nail was in the sidewall, and I needed to buy a new tire. They first tried to charge me 150.00. Then I argued hard but never asked to see the nail. After making them check the tire wear while I watched, we agreed it was 8 to 9 percent and I agreed to 50.00. The next morning, the pressure was good. I drove to Home Depot, and on the way home, it went down to 16 psi before I got home. While I was putting on the spare, I found the nut holding the valve stem in was loose, and when I touched it, I could hear it start leaking. I tighted it, and it's been holding air ever since. I believe that just like I could not find a nail in the tire, they could not and lied to me to sell me another tire. Also, 10 percent of 70k is 7k miles. Not less than 3k. They did a prorated price of 9 percent of the new price, not the price I paid, which was about 25 dollars less along with a 4 for cost of 3. What do you think happed?"
