"The customer service is truly top notch. I lost my keys to my truck top and was desperate to get them replaced. They were booked but managed to squeeze me in. Due to an accident on the freeway I was late to my appointment- so embarrassing! I felt so bad but they waited for me at the end of their busy day and could not have been nicer. I not only got a new lock and keys, they fixed my top so it fit better, and all for a very reasonable cost. I highly recommend Aloha Toppers! "I got my Camper shell from them about a year ago, and I love it!! The customer service is excellent. A couple months ago, I had some work done on my roof (painting & rust). The company who I dealt with removed my Camper and then put it back on wrong. Aloha Toppers was able to adjust it free of charge, and I really appreciate that. "There is one great thing about doing business with Aloha Toppers as a resident of an outer island (not living in Oahu where they are based), a few medium things, and one terrible thing: Great thing--I think that the trust they put in their customers to let them pay the second half of the bill after the camper shell has been delivered and installed is an excellent policy. Medium things--1) Marie and her son Zach have very good knowledge of Snugtop camper shells after having been their sole distributor in Hawaii for many years, and they freely share that with customers to help make an educated buying decision. 2) In addition, their prices are fair. I ended up comparing with pricing on the Mainland as I was thinking about cancelling my order (see "terrible thing" below to understand why), and found that it would cost a little more even if I bought from a discounter in California due to the shipping costs. Aloha Toppers can be extremely competitive in pricing because they consolidate many shells into a single shipping container, hence they have far reduced shipping costs to Hawaii versus a private buyer of a single shell. Terrible thing--Once I placed my order, I called and emailed probably ten times asking for some sort of receipt or proof-of-order from Snugtop to Aloha Toppers. They had taken $2,000 on my credit card as 1/2 deposit, and it was going to take about three months for the shell to come in. No matter what I did, they would never give me a receipt. When I called and got through to Marie (as compared to the various voicemail messages I left and emails I sent, all of which went totally ignored), she said she'd send it, but it never came. I started thinking that maybe they were going out of business and I would have to fight with the credit card company to get my $2,000 deposit back. If it wasn't for this one terrible thing, they would have a 5-star rating from me. But this was so aggravating, that I have to honestly rate them 3-stars. My suggestion to Marie: You appear to be doing a brisk business, but seem overwhelmed with the workload. I think you need to hire a third person to help so you can give better customer service to your clientele."

"Recent I got my keys stolen and was looking for a place to replace my truck cover. I emailed Aloha Toppers and received a very quick response. After a 2nd email, all questions were answered, quotes given and time scheduled for service. When I arrived I was greeted and everything was handled very professional. The service took less than 30 minutes. They let me inspect there work and then handled the charges and was in and out. They made it very easy and convenient for me.
