"Dinner was great. We had Ribs and Opakapaka. Drinks were good. Service was also good and the views can’t be beat. Breakfast was underwhelming but my son really liked the banana muffins."

"We came here for lunch and it was such a great experience. It’s right on the beach, so you get the ocean breeze and beautiful views. The food was SO good and for Kauai, I feel like it was reasonably priced. I would do unholy things to have those fish and chips again. They were so buttery and crispy and the sauce they came with was so tangy and good. I feel like this is a little hidden gem, because it wasn’t busy when we went but maybe that’s just because of the day it was. Definitely recommend and I hope I’ll be back soon!"

"We had dinner for the very first time at Lava Lava restaurant. The food and drinks was excellent. We heard it was pricy BUT, it was worth it. The service was fast and waitress constantly checking on us asking if we need anything. I had the coconut shrimp meal and let me tell you… that was the best coconut shrimp I have ever had and it was so big I had to cut it in half and it was loaded with coconut. My husband had the slow roasted baby back ribs and the meat fell of the bones and the sauce was out of this world delicious. Our Lava Lava flow drink with fresh bananas and strawberries and cream with rum was delicious and last but not least…the coffee cheesecake was yummy. Will definitely go back and try the fish n chips and fish tacos."

"3.5 Stars. Great atmosphere, but the food was just okay. I loved that the tables were in the sand with views of the ocean. The live music seemed cool, but we missed it both times we ate here. I got the Pineapple Fried Rice for dinner. It was really cool that it came in a pineapple, but the rice was really bland. Definitely not worth $30. For breakfast I got the avocado toast. I liked breakfast more than my dinner. Service was just okay. Felt rushed at breakfast. Didn’t get the complimentary muffins, and they put my order in wrong, and then charged us for it. It is a beautiful spot, but be prepared to pay a lot of money for just okay food."

"We have had breakfast here two times and the macadamia nut pancakes are incredible!! First time we had complimentary pineapple cinnamon carrot muffins, and second time banana muffins. Both were great but the carrot ones were amazing! Pineapple juice was delicious! View was over the top gorgeous!"
