"I found Velvet Fontenette on StyleSeat because I needed to have my loc extensions repaired and a retwist. Velvet seemed very knowledgeable and sweet, so I decided to let her do my hair. On the first visit, she pointed out what my previous loctitian did wrong and provided me with a temporary fix. She told me that I could schedule an appointment for a later date to have my hair completely redone as a permanent fix. I did schedule an appointment and went back to her, and to make a long story short. She obviously does not have a lot of training in locs and she made it worse. She talks a big game but does not know what she is doing. She completely messed up my hair but still charged me $850. I was not happy with the end result, it looked very sloppy. I went back to her a few days later and asked her fix it. She was unapologetic and gave me an attitude. She told me that “I have unrealistic expectations.” Once leaving the salon, I did some research and found out that her install was done incorrect and was not the industry standard . I tried to reach out to her for a resolution since she charged me $850 but she has ghosted me. Very unprofessional."

"Tiara, my stylist is the best. I love her spirit. The Salon is clean and sanitized. I was there only two hours for braids and i got my hair washed all was included. I highly recommend Tiara. I loved that she played Gospel music. Not just playing the music she knew the songs. My search is over for a stylist and salon."

"Best Hair Braider I found so far in the (702)area code aka LAS VEGAS, would definitely go to DejaMonet. Hands down she did a fabulous job on my daughters hair a couple days ago in braids and my daughter was so happy and it’s very hard to please my daughter!! I would definitely say ask for Deja and book an appt with her if you want beautiful professional results!! Not to mention my daughter is very tender headed and she told me it didn’t even hurt and the braids weren’t heavy. So it’s definitely 10 plus ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stars for us !! "I went to get my hair done with Deja (twice) she gives you exactly what you want and she is quick with her services. She is very easy to get along with, has everything prepped and ready to go, salon is very clean and the rest of the staff is very friendly. People always ask where I get my hair done at and I always send them to Deja! Braids last a very long time before I need to go back for a touch up or a new service! Glad I found her!"

"I booked Deja at LaFace on a whim. I saw no reviews so I wasn’t sure of what to expect. Ms.Deja blew me away. She did such a fantastic job on my knotless medium braids. I am very sensitive to heavy hands and Deja secured the hair and I have had no slippage or hairs poking though since getting my hair done. I also have ZERO red bumps. She is the best at what she does. Very talented, and interested in preserving your hair and edges. I am getting my hair redone in a week by her. Thank you Ms.Deja!
