"Went in today with my kid for his haircut and we left the place HUMILIATED by ANGIE!!!! I been coming here for years and had only good experiences, but today we had Angie and I left the salon almost in tears. My son (8 years old) have very curly hair and he needed a trim. He sat on her chair and starting to brush his hair very hard and pulling his head in all directions, he was almost in tears and she would scream at him " stay still!" then she looked at me with anger and said "your son hair is dirty and dry, dont you brush your son hair?" I was in disbelief His hair was NOT dirty, it was washed the day before and yes they had knots because he has very curly hair and played outside right before sitting on her chair. I told her that I was sorry but he was playing outside and didnt brush since the morning and she went on telling me "his hair its matte, its hair is dry and dirty. you are not taking care of his hair...and went on and on" . My son was so embarrassed and so was I. She gave him a horrible haircut that was crooked and in less than 5 min we were out . I payed $20 because im a bigger person and I always leave a tip no matter how bad the experience BUT in my life I never had such an horrific experience in a hair salon. Never! This woman humiliates her clients and kids and disrespects in all ways. She is ruining the company name since after her encounter I will never step in this salon again."

"Angie has a very nice-nasty attitude and will belittle your hair to your face!!! She comes off as blunt (and that’s not an issue); but as a client who is a black woman with 4c textured hair she made the statement to me of “I don’t know how you went natural” and told a story about how she told another woman she did not even have a curl pattern. She does an alright job with your hair but if your hair has any issues ( i.e. extremely dry) instead of helping you by offering treatments (like a professional)she will make you feel bad about it first. It got to a point where I was nervous to get my hair done because I knew she would make me feel bad. I was only going to her because I was new to the area. I definitely will not be returning but I just want to make it known that I have NEVER felt bad about my hair until sitting in Angie’s chair."
