"Cancelled my membership due to it being an unnecessary expense I couldn’t afford; unnecessary due to lack of consistency in quality and usually leaving my session not feeling relaxed but frustrated that the needs of my body were not addressed adequately. I understand this is a training facility, however pricing ought to be reduced because of that. I may be an advanced case too due to often carrying quite a bit of tension in my body, but it often felt like a lack of effort from multiple therapists (possibly due to overwork, lack of comfort, etc.). Only one therapist was consistent and truly addressed my needs, and that was Yolanda G. Unfortunately her availability is limited and did not match with mine. I did not have any sessions with the male therapists. If you are someone who doesn’t require firm or deep pressure and just prefer light sweeping strokes for your massage therapy, this may be the place for you."
"My cousin gifted me a 90 minute massage here. I went to the wrong location first but wasn't far from the right one and made it on time since I had left home early. I was taken back and given a bit of an awkward massage. Too hard in places that should be lighter and too light in places that should have gotten more pressure. I was given hard painful knuckles and was pinched several times against the bed and had to ask to lighten the pressure a few times. Typically that's fine, its all about adjusting and communicating with your therapist. It didn't get better. I ended up being frustrated because i was distracted by it all now. I also noticed my 90 minute massage was actually an 70 minute massage. I mentioned all of this and a manager never came out to ask me about anything. I was told by the front dest staff I'd be charged only half the price. I reminded them that this was a gift and that I wasn't supposed to be charged. They resolved that quickly but nothing was done. They just asked if I was going to tip her or not. I still tipped the massage therapist and was then dismissed. Everyone i dealt with that day was nice, that was never the problem, however I don't recommend this place."
"I had a membership there for a year but just canceled it. It's ok for leisure massages. I often did not good the massage I asked for... i.e., asked for firm pressure and got medium. And on my profile, it mentions knots... only 2 therapists gave attention to my knots when I asked, and that's after going every month for a year. (I have a stressful sit down job so really needed a specific massage, not cookie cutter, run of the mill) Luckily, I was able to pick a favorite, but you have to schedule way early to get what you want. So, I ended up canceling and going to a place that really addressed my needs. I should mention that the stretch session didn't make any difference for me either"
"Just because of the oddasity of their pricing. Last time I came to massage envy it was $60 for 60 mins. Now they want $130 for 60 mins. I can get a 2 hours massage almost anywhere else for the same price. Although is it your first time or has been more than 6 months it's only $80 for 60 mins. Massage it's self was good/decent. But I still won't be back just because of the prices."
"Massage experience is always nice. I love how there is not a sales pitch when receiving a massage. You come in and get your massage and leave. However if you want a good deal and can afford the monthly membership I would recommend it. However when I received a facial it was not relaxing at all. I felt like I was asking someone to wash my face and tell me how bad my skin was then I should spend over $150 in product to be entered in a raffle and get some travel size freebies. I understand thats how they make money but sometimes it's not welcomed. If huge if, I get a facial again i will tell them I am not interested in purchasing product. And I just want to relax. The staff is always great and really nice. This was my experience so my opinion is based on my many experiences there. I recommend going and trying for yourself."
