"I am changing my review! I am very disappointed with this salon! I had a mani pedi originally and the gel manicure was not set and peeled off. They re-did the manicure. It looked great but again the gel polish peeled off. They look horrible! Called to speak with the manager and became even more dissatisfied. Manager asked why I waited to call. Putting the blame on me for not contacting them sooner. I am completely enraged! NEVER GO THERE! They do not stand behind their work! I am out a lot of money for nothing! Please heed my words They Are Not Worth Going To! Don't waste your money."
"First time visitor, fair prices, great conversation. Alana was amazing and took her time on my feet. I will be going back!"
"I came into this place Thursday morning as a walk in and last minute decision because situations at home make it hard to squeeze in time. My husband got a last-minute shift change therefore it opened up four hours in the morning. I walked in shortly after 10 AM. I had a previous set that they decided needed to be soaked off and I was going to get a new set. I’ve had all these services before and in my head I thought, “okay maybe 2 or 2 1/2 hours max, I should be outta here by 12:30 the latest.” I gave the two stars because I got seated as soon as I walked in. There were no other customers. I see all these good reviews on Alana and the girl was really sweet but I’m assuming she just had an off day. The soak off took about an hour or so to be done so by 11:15 I’m thinking “OK well now she just has to put the new set on and put on the gel color that I picked.” I kept looking at my phone and in communication with my husband because I knew I had to leave there by 12:30 in order for my husband to get to work by one. Well 11:45 or so comes around and I believe the girl at front who is the manager received a phone call and asked Alana how much longer it was going to take her and she said another 45 minutes. At this point, I’m looking at my nails and she is still working on the acrylic. It still wasn’t shaped or buffed out and she put major work in on my cuticles. As someone who studied my trade, I do believe that people who put in time to study and learn a trade know best so I was assuming that she was doing what was best for my nails being that she was a professional. Well, a little over 2 1/2 hours later I have to tell her that I don’t have time to finish up the polish because by this point, my husband and kids were coming to meet me in the parking lot as opposed to me going home because he had to get to work. She then rushed the rest of the acrylic and buffing, and told me that after that I could wash my hands and she would be done. I was furious. When I got to the front I paid for the services done and it was $75. $40 for a full set and $35 for a soak off. I asked the manager if it usually takes this long because I never planned on being there for 2 1/2 hours and leaving with nails that weren’t even polished. She then mentioned that it depends on the technician. That if I was on a little little bit more of a time crunch to let them know. If I were to let them know that I was more on a time crunch I can’t imagine the work would be much better than what they got done with 2 1/2 hours. She did offer to polish my nails if I were to come back and I mentioned that that probably won’t be happening because it’s very difficult to squeeze in time with my work schedule, my husband’s work schedule and our kids. This was supposed to be a time of pampering and self-care for me, and it turned out to be more of a stressful situation than anything. I got home, and actually had the time to even pay attention to what was done and the acrylic itself was put on so thick at the base by the cuticle that it lumps over. My cuticles specifically my right thumb were bleeding all around. I’m just going to sum it all up to Alana having a bad day but I do not believe I will be coming back here for any services. The soak off at most luxury places is $20 and this place charged almost the price of a full set for a soak off. I didn’t even ask for it to be honest but figured why not. I’m used to going to places and when they do a new set they cut them down and pop them off and get the new set going. I’m being generous, I want to be nice and everyone is deserving of grace but man…. Do better. I l leave you with a picture of what a little over 2 1/2 hours of work looks like."
