"I love my eyelashes done by Stephanie at Illuminate You! She is always so accommodating with my crazy schedule, plus she is always on time with my appointments. I came to Stephanie after having a hard time with my lashes when going to another eyelash place. They were always falling out where I had to go weekly. Which takes up time and money! When I met with Stephanie is was so concerned about my lashes and the damage from the other place. She got me all back to new and looking beautiful again. The best part is that I now only get my lashes done every 2 1/2-3 weeks! My lashes never fall out until about 2 weeks due to growth, and always very few. What a difference! I get non-stop compliments on my lashes! I was getting a laser facial done on my face and she was a lash artist as well, she asked me for Stephanie number because she said the lashes were done perfect and she wanted to go to Stephanie too. "I have been so happy through the YEARS of using Stephanie to tan me for special events and photos. She's extremely thoughtful and talented in everything I've ever seen of her work. I highly recommend her for tanning and lashes. She is meticulous and takes such time and care. She has an understanding of what really enhances you! I know many celebrities use her services when they're in town for award shows and such. And I also recommend her if you're doing a photo shoot or music video. She can even make you look stronger with her attention to detail and shading if you so choose. Pretty amazing. I've seen Stephanie do the impossible! I just Love Her! You will too! "Extremely bad experience with this location. Honestly I don't understand the good reviews for miss Stephanie. We can't speak on the tanning, but the lash extensions my wife received was extremely sub-par, discomforting, and even down right painful. She described to me how during her appointment with miss Stephanie, she repeatedly poked at her eye lid as she applied the lashes and glue to close to the base of the lashes. Miss Stephanie proceeded to complain about her twitching as a result of this erroneous application. My wife believing she was the professional and trying to be respectful tried her best to muster through it. After the first eye was finished she inspected it and it didn't look anything like she expected it would, mind you she's been to multiply other lash companies and has had no such issues thus far. For "Volume" lashes they looked much too thin, and were not properly filled. She requested they be filled more evenly. To miss Stephanie's credit she did fix the filling issue on the first eye while she went to work on the second. But in doing so she completely neglected to properly handle the second eye. The first eye looked okay at this point, but by the time she finished the second the 2nd eyes looked vastly different. The second being under filled again, looking rushed, and again it presented the same issue with being applied to close to the base. My wife at this point was extremely unsatisfied with the session. she wanted out. Being non-confrontational in nature, my wife left immediately after she finished, and went to another professionally lash establishment. She inquired about getting getting her new lashes filled as she didn't like how they turned out. They recommended having them removed as they were applied very poorly, Naively she went against this recommendation and had them filled. Later she discover why this was such a bad mistake. She mostly ignored the discomfort originally present after she had them applied, as she thought it was mostly do to the poor application process. But The discomfort she felt not even a few hours later continued. After sleeping on it, the discomfort didn't go away. She decided the next day to remove the lashes. She tried to remove them herself but quickly realize do to the amount of glue miss Stephanie used she would have to go to a professional to have them removed properly. I personally tried to request a refund with miss Stephanie, but was told they have a strict no refund policy. Too my discredit, I did become frustrated with this conversation and it was apparent in my tone. I however did not cuss and tried to stay professional with my words even with my upset tone. I informed her I would be disputing this transaction if possible, and would be writing this review. This honestly being the only bad review I have ever felt the need to make. I would understand if my wife was to have kept the lashes and was just unsatisfied with quality. But she had to remove them because of the pain and discomfort. To miss Stephanie's benefit, she did offer to remove them, but my wife refused to let she anywhere near her lashes again. All in all, it cost us $150 ($100 for the extensions, $20 for the fill, and $30 for the removal) the loss of way too many natural eye lashes (Ten on each eye), and a lot of unnecessary pain and discomfort to go here. Please do not make the same mistake we did. The $100 price tag for new customers is tempting, but it's cheap for a reason. Please avoid this establishment at all costs. Update: My wife just finished with the lash removal. Apparently, the glue that miss Stephanie uses is also of a poorer quality. Resulted in cuts, dry lashes, and bald spots in lash line. The remover noted how poorly the application done. Multiple lashes were even glued directly to the skin. Those hurt to remove."
