"UPDATE: I got GEL polish last WEEK that CHIPPED off half my middle finger. 8 days after getting my nails done. The technician completely missed the mark for a champagne glitter, putting on a dark bronze and explaining the difference was so difficult. The manager came in to assist which helped. Their full set design listing on class pass claims for both hands and feet but only applies to hand. I was happy with services when building it first opened. After 5 months I’m extremely dissatisfied and will not be returning again. 5 months ago Just discovered this place recently and had a wonderful experience. Betty the nail tech did a fantastic job, she was so knowledgeable and welcoming. The salon is very clean and functional with beautiful design. Will definitely be coming back :)"

"I have frequented the MJNails up on St Rose and loved my experiences. I was excited that one opened up closer to home. Went in for a pedicure and hybrid gel nails with extensions Nov 5. Pedicure was fine- the girl doing it seemed to be in a rush. I’m not sure why as there wasn’t many people there at that time of the morning. My feet definitely aren’t pedicure smooth but they will do. My biggest complaint is with my Hybrid gel nails. They are a little thick and they aren’t really the same shape- some are more almond and others are oval. I also paid extra $20 for a design as I have an event next week that I wanted to be a bit fancy for. The same girl didn’t seem to want to do the design and tried to push for just color- I guess I would just appreciated her telling me she wasn’t comfortable instead of trying to do something (I would have respected that more and either would have went with a color or waited for someone else to do the design). The design was some free flowing lines and it just looks pretty awful the more I look at them. Different widths the color is lighter some places than others. She also didn’t clean up my cuticles well before apply the hybrid gel. I’m not sure if I’ll go back to this location but overall I would just ask the nail artist to be honest with their customers."
