"Wanted to express my appreciation for Eric (Dr. Smash himself, the owner) for the extensive and quality work he performed on my Explorer off-road rig. Eric stood behind his quote and went WAY above to complete the work, even at his expense, to honor the commitment of work we agreed to. Of course I compromised and assisted where possible too, so we could both see the massive endeavor through. From experience, most people will “say” anything to get a job, and at the same time, these same people will “say” anything to get out of a job or not complete a job to expectation because it’s no longer profitable to them to do so, even if they agreed to do it. In other words, there are not a lot of honest people out there anymore. Eric made me believe he is someone who exudes integrity and honors his business arrangements without compromising quality or demeaning customers with excuses. He’s VERY capable and has a VAST knowledge of mechanical and fabrication skills among an extensive list of materials and products, let alone his ability to see the whole picture and come up with real and sustainable solutions that are cost effective, solutions that work based on his database of knowledge and experience within a wide spectrum of customer requests and problems. He’s a problem solver and actually thinks and analyzes, which I really appreciate, since this is often where the true value is. At the same time, treat him fairly and with respect and he will turn your problems or requirements into something special. Treat him in a disrespectful way or try and discredit him when he’s doing everything in his power to help you, would likely not be appreciated by him. Bottom line, Eric is an asset to this community and provides a wealth of talent that most people will never acquire. Plus, he has a good head on his shoulders and is just a good guy. I have full confidence in him professionally and look forward to spending my hard-earned money with him again in the near future to take my rig to the next level in its build phase. If this doesn’t speak as a reference, I don’t know what would!"
