"I am sad to report this but people may benefit from my experience. I was referred to Dr. Luckey by a dentist I respect for pain in a tooth with a crown and previous root canal. Dr. Luckey did the x-rays and tests and then recommended a re-do of the root canal....but gave me a guarded prognosis. Things just did not feel right. I independently found another endodontist with 5/5 star (recent) reviews by 53 people. Within minutes the second endodontist told me AND SHOWED ME WITH PHOTOS that my tooth was cracked in half. It must be extracted. Apparently Dr. Luckey was planning on performing a procedure that was doomed to failure. The $2,000 he would have received will go a long way towards an implant. Be careful with this endodontist. You have other choices."
"Usually, I hear about horror stories about people getting root canals that take over two hours and are super painful and make the whole dental experience and miserable. Even my own father has had bad experiences. But I was referred here by Champagne dentistry, I came in and had not Dr. lucky but the other lady. Forgive me, this was a while ago. But, from sitting down in the chair to walking out the door Took about an hour. I felt zero pain. I got numbed up perfectly. And was honestly one of the easier dental experiences I’ve ever had. 10 out of 10"
"Dr. Beus was EXTREMELY thorough with me. Let me start by saying that I have been in pain for almost 2 weeks and was told that I needed a root canal. However Dr. Beus, instead of just performing the root canal, took the time to test my tooth and surrounding areas, took x-rays, etc. and discovered I do not need the root canal, but have other issues in the surrounding tissue. While I was in extreme pain during the testing, she was kind enough to numb me to take the edge off and explained and answered all of my and my husbands questions. She could have just performed the procedure based on the referral which would have been a higher bill for me and them, but instead she cared about getting the diagnosis right, which I appreciate immensely. Even though I am still in pain and waiting for another referral now, I am extremely confident in everything Dr. Beus explained to me. I do not numb well AT ALL and have a huge fear of dental procedures but I would return to Dr. Beus and her staff for any future needs as they were very understanding and took their time which is rare. Thank you. (My only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that I did not have an actual procedure completed by the office. But I would not hesitate to trust this office and Dr. Beus.)"
"I had 3 long years of pain in my face, went from endo to endo and nothing until we moved to Reno and I discovered Dr. Lucky. He looked into it, said there is something tiny but he thought it was the problem. Booked root canal. experience was very good and pleasant. It has been 6 years now and I never had problems since then. All pain is gone. He was right. I would recommend Dr. Lucky anytime.'"
"Nice people. But their mask for the nitrous is so uncomfortable...I had to take it off during a procedure. The assistant didn't seem to understand that it was hurting my skin underneath my nose-I understand that it should be tight so the gas doesn't escape, but this was not right. The mask should not feel like it is cutting into your skin under your nose. And they did not fix the gaping hole in my broken tooth and the filling from where they worked on it came off without even eating with it...."
