"Dr. Standerfer has been my dentist for more than a decade - maybe two decades now! He and his staff are friendly and his office is always welcoming and super clean. What I love most most is that I can trust them. He never recommends costly treatments I don’t need, and he always does a wonderful job when I do need work done. One Friday night a couple of years ago I had a tooth suddenly go bad, and I was up all night in excruciating pain. He met me at his office the next day and took care of it. He didn’t charge me for his weekend time which I found incredibly kind and generous. His daughter Kelsey is one of the hygienists now, and she’s equally as wonderful. She cleaned my teeth just yesterday and was able to get the caffeine stains off completely. Love this dentist and his staff!"

"Dr. Standerfer's office is located at the very end of Hammill Lane, which is on the west side of Kietzke Lane just south of the intersection with Sierra Rose / Meadowood. The office tucked in the back left corner of the parking lot -- you will need to look. Now that you're there, you will love his traditional approach to dentistry and his traditional approach to a relationship with a patient (friendly). When I had first moved to Reno a few years ago, I went to a practice group with a "modern" approach to dentistry. It was a factory. The visit for my first cleaning actually took four hours. When I had a filling replaced, it took almost six hours. What is up with that? It turns out that the specific provider is hopping between patients. The provider would come in, do about five or ten minutes of work, and then disappear for stretches. My replaced filling cracked within a week (literally). Interactions with the staff felt "corporate." I was done. Give me a dentist who is skilled and know how to treat people. I then found Dr. Standerfer. The entire staff is friendly and personable. The actual dental work has been excellent and performed in an amount of time one would expect. I have referred several friends to him."
