"Dr. Mary has been my dentist for close to 20 years. She has also kept my 4 children's smiles in tip top shape. When I read reviews suggesting Dr. Mary has either engaged in some dubious dental procedures, praticed outside her range of expertise or tried to do unneccessary work to charge patients more money, I find it misleading and no doubt not "all of the story." I have had extensive work done over the years, including: fillings, crowns, an implant and cosmetic procedures. Dr. Mary has performed more "simple" root canals herself and has referred me to specialists when she felt the procedure was beyond her scope of practice. I feel she is "conservative" in what she feels needs to be treated and doesn't just fill, extract or treat every little defect. I appreciate this as I don't need to spend thousands of dollars every visit on questionable procedures. Dentistry, as all medical fields, is a "practice." People are all different. Their mouths and bodies are different and individual experiences will vary greatly from each other. Problems and difficulties can and will arise. I have had a few experiences over the years where something from the lab didn't fit right or the tooth she was working on was difficult, etc. This is normal. Dr. Mary has worked through any difficulties with the expertise of a professional who knows what she's doing. To suggest she is at fault for normal variations in dental procedures is limited thinking. There will be the occasional issue and it's what happens during and after that to correct the issue that matters. Dr. Mary has always corrected difficult situations with me, both on the medical aspect and financial. She is an excellent dentist and has the utmost integrity and best interest of her patients. I would (and do) refer her with 100 percent confidence to everyone. Dr. Mary and all of her staff (the front and back office are kind, funny, genuine and professional) run a top notch practice. If you are looking for a great dentist, look no further."

"Dr. Mary is a wonderful dentist. I came to her a few years ago after being with another dentist who was very aggressive about new caps and fillings. Dr. Mary is conservative, but always does what is best for the patient. Her treatment is gentle and respectful. I am so glad I made the switch to Dr. Mary."

"Both my husband and I were patients of Dr. Papez-Berg. My husband had problems with his upped teeth and it was determined he needed an upper plate. Instead of referring him to an Oral Surgeon, she extracted his upper teeth herself. My husband ended up having very long roots. The extractions went poorly. Often she had to kneel on his chair and body to get enough leverage to remove his teeth. His mouth was VERY swollen. He had to return in a day to be fitted with his upper plate. It was so difficult to get it correct and the upper cracked. The upper was replaced/repaired multiple times. Finally it was determined the failure had to be my husband's fault and we payed for the "incorrectly fitted" plate. We found another dentist and a new denture. This time the denture fit with no more breakage. Dr. Papez-Berg should NOT have tried to extract his teeth herself but allowed someone with more skill."
