"Absolutely disgusted with the operations of this business. I booked an appointment to get my hair done for a wedding about 4 months prior. I had changed the type of hairstyle needed and emailed Vanessa 3 times with no response until I found another email address online to make contact. This appointment was reconfirmed 2 weeks prior and then 24 hours prior. I arrived at the time of my appointment with Nick and the salon was CLOSED!!! The hours on the door said it was open on a Saturday and there was a sign on the window ledge saying closed. I was furious! The owner emailed me soon after I contacted her about it and she said Nick knew my appointment was his responsibility (sounds like they knew I wasn’t getting my booking) and that she was going to contact other stylists. I’ve never heard from them again and would NEVER recommend this business to anyone."

"A few weeks after getting a nice haircut from Nick I showed him the formula for root touch up that has been used on my hair for a long time. He replied that he has a different product that will give the same results. Trusting him was my mistake. My hair looks dry and dull and the color is much darker than with the previous product. As there isn’t a price list posted on the website or visibly displayed in the salon I can’t complain about what I was charged. Compared, however, with what I paid for the haircut a few weeks before, I am quite sure that I was overcharged for this service. Bottom line: I am very disappointed with the service provided to me by Nick at Perception Salon."
