"I had an uncomfortable experience at the centennial red rock running company store today. It was unusual as every time I had gone previously they were very kind. I’ve been buying from them maybe 4years+ now, but this encounter was much different than before. I went in to buy a pair of ghosts, they only had 1 pair in my size remaining. She asked if I wanted to try them on and I declined as I’ve been buying the ghosts since the 11s. After she rung up the shoes I decided to check them out and to my surprise the bottoms were a bit dark as if they had been worn outdoors and returned. They explained the shoes are tested, tried on, and could have been walked with on the treadmill but it appeared worse than just test use. I asked if we could swap them out for another pair and after looking into my request declined on exchanging or special ordering another pair from another store. I thought that was odd. I decided to return the shoe and shortly after the return was completed Michael the manager assured me they don’t sell used shoes and gave me his word they would have only been tested in store. I decided to just purchase the shoes and save time shopping them elsewhere even though I felt they didn’t appear new and while engaging in that transaction he reviewed my historical purchase summaries and felt I had engaged in too many exchanges/returns in the past and would no longer be eligible for any further exchanges or returns. I have tried other shoes with them in the past, tried insoles, and wasn’t satisfied so I brought them back but I’ve always moved forward with a purchase. I didn’t feel there was any pattern or abuse and have spent 100s of $ on shoes and socks over the years. I have referred family and friends and with this warning I decided not to pursue the repurchase. They made me feel like I was trying to take advantage of their returns/exchange system and I left feeling like I couldn’t risk shopping there anymore because if I was unhappy i would be stuck with my purchase. I am hoping I can still shop there and will try another location for a better looking pair of ghosts but without them flagging my relationship and preventing me from any future returns/exchanges. If someone can contact me to discuss, I would appreciate it."

"Where do I start?! I have major supination on my left foot. A few days ago, I walked into the Henderson store and was helped by Anthony and Frank. They were more than pleasant and helped me with every possible shoes under the sun. I would up purchasing the New Balance Vongo6. However, after wearing it for 2 days, I developed plantar fasciitis on both feet. I clean up the shoes as beast as I can because they were still brand new and I only wore them on mall carpet. Here's where the kindness turned into "all about the money.." I tried returning it to the store and Cat said she'd refund the money if she could clean it to the point of it looking as if no one had worn it. Unfortunately, since the soles are white, there was no way it was going to look brand new. She then gave me a store credit. I decided to take the shoes back to clean them myself as I had better cleaning product and tools then Cat had. I would up making the shoes look brand new and decided to go to another store to return them (I don't see anything wrong with that). The lady there looked at the shoe and was ready to accept the shoes as it really was super clean as if no one wore them. However, when she went on the computer and saw that it had already been returned, she decided to only issue me a store credit. Anthony - the guy that initially helped me with the shoe purchase, was there and he said he's not going against his fellow employee and would stick to Cat's decision. I explained the entire situation, but it was still a "NO" for money back. I was extremely upset as other retail stores accept returns for the customer's money back. I even told them that I've already tried every shoe they had to offer, so a store credit would do me no good. The one Star is for the initial help. Keep in mind that at Red Rock Running Company, you will never get your money back. Live and Learn! They're not very sympathetic as the reason I was returning the shoes, was because they gave me pain in both feet!"

"Great customer service! Maria helped us find shoes specifically for our feet, use, and comfort. They also have compression socks, clothing, lightweight sunglasses that are good for running, and sports nutrition such as gels."

"Such a cool staff and shoes as well! They measure my feet and also where I have more pressure and how I walk! And offer me a few different kind of running shoes ! So much attention and great choice! I will come back for sure ! High recommend this store ! Also they have running path and you can try your new shoes on it !"
