He was very friendly and knowledgeable about alpine hiking gear and self care tips to make our go of Whitney in one day (July 15), a safe, satisfying and successful adventure. We picked up a few other essentials while browsing the store inventory. Hiking in high elevation is no joke. We’ve been preparing for months. The store employees each time we were there were helpful and welcoming. Tell John we cramponed up and took the chute down. Thank you!"
