"One of the best Japanese restaurants I tried, katsu so tasty, sauce came with sesame which you can mash by self, tempura shrimp with udon soup, it’s just awesome! This is really Asian taste, strongly recommend!"
"All I can say is "Wow wow wow!" The chicken katsu was made to perfection! So tender, and so flavourful. There was a generous amount of gravy which I also loved mixed in with the rice. Highly recommended."
"Tora Katsu & Curry: A Japnese Sunrise In the vibrant world of culinary delights, Tora Katsu & Curry stands as an undisputed gem. During my recent visit, I enjoyed savoring Japanese cuisine's intricate flavors and textures, with the Pork Rosu Katsu and soba combo taking center stage. Allow me to share my experience in detail, as it sent me back to Edo, Japan, for the senses. The Pork Rosu Katsu and soba combo at Tora Katsu & Curry is a dish that showcases the art of precision and balance. It's not merely a meal; it's an experience. As the word arrived, I was immediately captivated by the aromas wafting from the plate. The golden, crispy pork cutlet, known as Rosu Katsu, lay before me, luring me in. However, it was the interactive element that genuinely set this dish apart. A dainty pestle and mortar were presented alongside the dish, inviting me to engage in a sensory exploration. Within the mortar were toasted sesame seeds, their fragrance a prelude to the impending alchemy. With each deliberate motion, I ground the seeds into a fragrant paste, releasing their oils and essence. This transformation was a tactile pleasure and a journey into the heart of Japanese culinary tradition. The brown sauce, a velvety elixir, was infused with the freshly ground sesame, resulting in a sauce of unparalleled depth and character. The sesame seeds imparted an earthy, nutty quality, and their oils provided a silky texture that luxuriously coated the palate. When drizzled over the Pork Rosu Katsu sauce, the sauce was nothing short of perfection, elevating the dish to new heights. Each bite of the pork cutlet is resplendently crispy on the outside and sumptuously tender within, elevating the dish to new heights. The Soba served on the same plate, was a harmonious companion. The buckwheat noodles, with their delicate, slightly nutty flavor, were cooked to perfection and served in a warm, umami-rich broth. Their presence complemented the pork cutlet exquisitely, creating a balance of flavors and textures that was a joy to savor. Tora Katsu & Curry's Pork Rosu Katsu & Soba combo is a masterclass in cuisine. It seamlessly blends the interactive experience of grinding sesame seeds with the sublime flavors of Japanese culinary tradition. The result is a dish that is not only delectable but also celebrates texture and technique. Tora Katsu & Curry is an establishment that appreciates and respects the traditions of its craft, ensuring a dining experience that is nothing short of exceptional. If you're looking for a culinary journey that transcends the ordinary, Tora Katsu & Curry is the place to be. It is a realm where innovation and tradition converge in delightful harmony, and each bite is an ode to culinary mastery."
"1st time here. The lady was really helpful as I have only had chicken katsu hawaiian style so this was all new to me. We decided to order the beef and pork katsu. Served with finely shredded cabbage which was amazing. The meat was tender. The breading was so light and crunchy. I loved it! The miso soup was good and the pickled furiji...something was good too. Will definitely be back to try the noodles"
"Absolutely worth a visit. This is the most authentic katsu place I have been to in the USA. The over all esthetic is awesome. The food was very good and very close to traditional. I can not wait to be passing through the area again to eat here again. Please see all photos for yourself. The QR code should show you the full menu if you are interested or my photos are not clear enough. 10 out of 10 must try. And just to mention lived in Japan for 3 years. The Pizza Katsu was interesting, definitely had to try it as I've never seen the like before."
