"Visited because apparently Damien Hirst designed the entire bar, from the logo to the coasters. This bar includes the 1999 sculpture “The Unknown (Explored, Explained, Exploded)” aka the shark - along with nine of his spot paintings. Could not wait to see it in person and it does not disappoint, really a fascinating work of art from all angles. You can find it right at the main entrance, its an oval shaped bar and the shark is visible from the casino floor, but I suggest going in to get a drink and a closer look. I bought the Catch 22 cocktail - floral and fun."

"This bar is located inside the Palms in the center of the casino floor. On Saturday night this place was playing all the 2000 jams. I loved it! There is seating at the bar as well as table tops with sofas and chairs. This place is very nice and has a great vibe if you’re looking for a cocktail and good music."

"Such a cool name for a bar! So glad to see this open again! Well worth to stop here for a drink or two or three, lol!! A shark hanging from the ceiling in the middle of the bar, how awesome is that? Epic Vegas and I am so glad the new owners of the Palms, San Manuel Band of Mission Indians., kept the original name and the decorum. Time for locals, guests, visitors and tourists to make the Unknown Bar known lol!!"

"If you like sharks, signature cocktails, and a little bit of the unknown, then look no further! Absolutely love the decor of this place, it has a very relaxing and classy atmosphere, perfect place to grab a drink with a friend or a date. You can either sit at the bar, or at one of the comfy chairs the along the outside. The signature cocktails are delicious and perfectly made. The bar is marble, poke-a-dot walls, and there's a freaking shark above the bar! What else can I say."

"Palms has been going through a brand refresh and renovating the property and The Unknown Bar is one of the first new venues to open. Situated right in front of the main entrance and center of the gaming tables, Unknown has great decor with the tri-Shark Tank. Cool space and open views of the casino makes for fun people watching and brings in the energy of the Vegas experience. Staff was very friendly and the cocktail selection is great. I personally really liked Keep The Party Going. A bit pricey is my only knock."
