Motel 6 Bishop, CA

"Im 20 year combat veteran.. but most importantly is our son is disabled with MS. After making a reservation for a disabled accessible room and taking our money we recieved a call from motel 6 Bishop CA. We where told we where not welcome on the property and to call the manager Melissa Humble.. After calling her. All she said is we aren't welcome at motel 6 and she hung up. We called back and very rudely she stated that I quit without notice and hung up. We called back trying to tell her we've never worked for motel 6. ( Im a 20 year Army Vet) She rudely said dont call back Ill consider it harassment. I'd rather go back to Iraq or Somalia then Stay at the Bishop motel 6.. or any other Motel 6 for that matter. Corporate has been notified.. Melissa Humble needs a new job. Anything with Hospitality is definitely above her limited abilities."

"Stayed here for a weekend. The room was dirty, old hair from previous people on the floor. My room did not receive service once over 4 days, even after asking the front office. The toilet constantly squeaked if another room flushed or used the water until you flushed it yourself. Old Tv with cables that hardly worked. Just a really poor experience even for the money. You’re better off at the best western next door. Walkable to things in town but that’s the only upside."

"Great place to stay. I Will definitely be back many times. Many restaurants of all levels are very close by, plenty of parking, felt safe at all times. Room has been recently redone and the housekeeping was exceptional. All staff were friendly and well informed."

"Fine for a one night stay but wouldn't personally stay again. Liked · We stayed mid-October 2023. We arrived at 3.30pm (our reservation said check-in was after 1pm) and our room was not ready. We were informed to come back at 5pm when our room would be cleaned and available. We returned at 4.15pm hoping our room would be ready earlier but unfortunately, we found the cleaner sitting in the room about to eat her lunch and the room not even near being ready. We had also chosen this motel because it had a coin laundry for guests but the machines were out of order. We were then provided an alternative room which was basic but clean. It had a TV/microwave and refrigerator. Wifi was below average, and would not connect. Disliked · Check-in was so late and also WIFI was below par. Facilities (guest laundry out of service) main reason we booked this accommodation."

"My stay at Motel 6 in Bishop was nothing short of a complete nightmare. The room was disgustingly dirty, with stained sheets and a musty odor. The bathroom was unsanitary, and the towels were more abrasive than usable. The staff showed no interest in providing even basic customer service. To make matters worse, the parking spaces were all compact-car size, despite half of the guests driving trucks, resulting in constant chaos. But that's not all..... the atmosphere was far from family-friendly, making it unsuitable for children. The motel appeared to be a den, with sketchy individuals coming and going at all hours. To top it off, the management seemed to run a scam by claiming to be overbooked and not honoring confirmed reservations, instead demanding extra money at walk-in rates. Furthermore, the amenities were a complete disappointment. The pool, coffee machine, and vending machine were all out of order, adding to the overall sense of neglect and disrepair. I would strongly advise against staying at this motel. It's dirty, unsafe, noisy, and lacks integrity in its dealings with guests. I was so disappointed that I left after just one day, even though I had booked for two, without even bothering to ask for a refund. There are far better accommodation options in the area that will provide a much more pleasant experience."
