"Sat at the bar. The service was fantastic. The food came out so quick. It was delicious and very fresh!"
"I only been to Kumi once and it was for my birthday. What a celebration it was and this place had amazing food and service. I was very happy with everything that night and one day I hope to be back!"
"Fresh, unique, and delicious sushi rolls and apps! We (a group of four) ordered four rolls, and the Waygu gyoza and enjoyed all of them! The fish was fresh, the flavour combinations were unique, and the sauces complimented the rolls well. We had the Kumikaze, Ha-ma-chi, cherry blossom, and shogun and really liked the yuzu on the Kumikaze. The sauce that comes with the waygu gyoza is phenomenal. The space is a little dark for my liking, but calm and ambient. The space is divided into several large dining rooms and each has a unique look: there is the external facing dining area with the roundhouse couches, the Sakura room (a must-see even if you eat in a different section), the bonsai room which is more dark and intimate, and then the main dining area with tables and booths. The staff was very helpful and polite, offering recommendations and helping us choose option based on dietary restrictions. The only reason I rate it 4 instead of 5 stars is the value for your money -- you can get equally good sushi at a lower price elsewhere, but overall we found it worth it for the experience and location on the strip. The bill becomes more reasonable too if you make use of the $50 off $150 promo on their website."
"We tried the shrimp, tuna pizza, Chilean sea bass. All the food was good - shrimp was cooked Al dente, pizza was good, sushi roll, Chilean sea bass - great presentation and flavors. Service we had was excellent. It just didn’t quite warrant the 5 star quality of food when spending close to $300 for 2."
"I recently dined at this Japanese restaurant, and my experience was far from satisfactory. Despite its high rating, I couldn't fathom why. The sauces were overwhelming, completely masking the delicate flavors of the fish. To add to the disappointment, the servers seemed preoccupied, engrossed in conversations with their colleagues rather than attending to diners. Furthermore, the restaurant's prices were exorbitant for the underwhelming experience it offered. Considering the taste, service, and ambiance, it was an unreasonable splurge. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this place to fellow diners."
