Reviews
"The parking is not too much of an issue during the week but can be tight on the weekends. The decor of the sushi place is simple. The choices on the menu are all you can eat or a la cart. The quality of the food was ok to very good. The service was very good."
"Went here today and it was the best way to end my trip to Vegas. Absolutely everything about this place is amazing. The service was excellent and so welcoming. I really loved that they encouraged us to keep eating. Those of you who frequent AYCE places know that service can get slow after awhile. Not at Smile Shota. They encouraged us to keep trying things. And we were happy to oblige because everything we tried was excellent. The quality of the fish and seafood was high and the ratio of fish to rice was perfect. We tried a bit of everything from the appetizers, to baked rolls, nigiri, and premium items. It was all good. Come here with an appetite and a few friends so you can try lots. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Vegas."
"Decent food for the price . Some of the rolls were over the top good then others just ok. Recommend to try the monkey brains, don't cry amigo , honey screaming. The fish over rice ratio was good more fish less rice perfect for nigiri."
"YESSS. Must go. I went on business trip. Found this place while I was on my way to Vegas through Instagram Reels. I didn't believe the ad but no the place was 1000% worth the visit. Servers are super super friendly Food. Some were ok some were not recommended but who cares! Its AYCE. If something is worth it then YES I recommend for unlimited. However just to share for heads up for my yelpers, Ill list some Not recommended : Oysters I tried twice incase I was wrong but no, I think the oysters were no go. Uni It was Ok : Mackerel (One of my personal favorite sushi but here was Ok) Squid (Not too special, average) Tako (Same not too special, but still average) MUST TRY : Salmon, Salmon Cheek Cook, Unagis, Ikura, all kinds of Salmon and Tuna. I forgot which one, maybe Yuzu one, love the touch with slice of lemon on some sushi. Ice creams are also included. Rolls were good, Sashimis were good. Their Miso was surprisingly not cheap taste, hot and good. So much more. Loved the open vibe with servers constantly coming to refill our table. 10000% definitely coming back when I go to Vegas. Dont change!!!!"
"The main Cheongdam Food Hall can be VERY crowded (especially on the weekend), so it's nice that Smile Shota has its own little corner within the building. The waitresses were welcoming & kind, food came out surprisingly fast & was delicious! The fish-to-rice ratio is pretty good. We will absolutely be back :D"
