"In A Nutshell: -Yukga Korean BBQ is a nice korean bbq restaurant right next to Summerlin. -I never realized this was here until recently. -They have 3 AYCE menu options, but the cheapest one $26 is only available on specific timeframes (pretty much lunch & late at night). -You'll more than likely choose the $35 menu, which is very good in itself. -All of the standard cuts of meat are available, plus a plethora of side dishes. -The service is very, very attentitve & fast. Overall, I will definitely come back to eat here since it's closer than going to the southwest or Chinatown."
"My family and I have visited this Korean BBQ ~7 times now, dating as far back as 12 Mar 2021, and up to recently, on 27 Jan 2024. I thought for sure that I provided a review and/or at least rated this restaurant during one of my previous visits, but apparently I didn't. My recent visit happens to be the first time I ate here during the lunch period, which at the end of the day, was more beneficial for me because it allowed me to maximize my digestive period. It's not a big deal, but when I go to Korean BBQs, I come to eat...to the point of getting meat sweats going on - yes, it's that serious! Also, the majority of the famous Korean BBQs are located right off the Spring Mountain Road area, so it's comforting that restaurants of high caliber, like Yukga, are available to everyone without always having to drive to one area of the city. When we walked in, we were greeted immediately by one of the employees and was escorted to our seat. The all-you-can-eat (AYCE) options on the menu were simple to understand and the prices were extremely reasonable; prices for the AYCE are (as of 27 Jan 2024): Yukga AYCE - $25.95 Gold AYCE - $35.95 Platinum AYCE - $44.95 One of my favorite things to do at AYCE Korean BBQs is to order the first wave of food whenever we sit down. The idea of ordering so much food that it covers every portion of your table is just a sight for sore eyes. Throughout the time spent here, we ordered the Fried Mandu (Dumpling), Kimchi Pancake, Kimchi Soup, Spicy Chicken, Beef Brisket, Pork Belly, LA Galbi, Thin Galbi, Beef Bulgogi, and Banchan (Bean Sprouts, Cucumber Kimchi, Radish Kimchi, and Regular Cabbage Kimchi). And yes, we did order seconds for some of the meats, and actually got a fourth order of the Thin Galbi. Everything tasted so good and definitely healed the hunger pains in every way possible. Of noteworthy mention, my family and I have also tried the Original Galbi, Ribeye, NY Steak, Bibimbap, and Jap Chae during previous visits, and they were all spectacular. The restaurant was very clean and the décor had a contemporary flare to it (oh and the music selection was great too...you K-Pop fans would love it). One of the features that I enjoy about this restaurant is the size of the tables. I'm not a fan of the AYCE restaurants where you struggle keeping things on the table because it's so small - makes you feel like you're eating off of one of those small tables that little kids have "pretend tea time" on. The customer service is downright extraordinary! Whenever you request things from your server or even grab the attention of another table's server, the employees respond in a timely manner. The one thing that was confusing to me during a couple of our visits was the idea of who cooks the food. During those "couple" visits, the employees were going around and cooking for the tables/customers. I don't mind that at all, especially when it gives me a break from cooking, but others may have issues with it because that takes away from the fun of it all. I didn't lose any sleep over it...just thought it was worth mentioning. Overall, this restaurant is easily in my top 5 AYCE Korean BBQ restaurants within the Las Vegas-Henderson-Summerlin areas. Between the prices, options, quality, and service, this restaurant unquestionably packs a punch! I highly recommend this restaurant to all locals and visitors...you won't be disappointed."
"Yukga Korean BBQ is a delightful eatery that offers a well-rounded dining experience, earning a respectable 4-star rating. This review will delve deeper into what makes Yukga stand out from other Korean BBQ joints. **Meat Selection and Culinary Excellence:** Yukga boasts an impressive selection of meats that cater to various palates, from beef brisket to pork belly and chicken. Each cut of meat is of high quality, and the interactive nature of Korean BBQ enhances the flavors. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive, guiding diners through the grilling experience and ensuring that every bite is mouth-watering. **Atmosphere:** The ambiance at Yukga is a feast for the senses, transporting diners to the lively streets of Seoul, Korea. The restaurant is decorated with traditional Korean elements, and the sizzling sounds of meat on the grill and the aromatic scent of barbecue fill the air. The lighting is warm and inviting, and the seating is comfortable and spacious, making it an ideal spot to gather with friends and family. **Sides - A Subpar Note:** Although Yukga is commendable in many aspects, the sides fall short of expectations. While not terrible, they lack the same excellence in the meat selection and culinary execution. The kimchi, for example, could use a bit more fermentation, and the pickled vegetables lack the same level of punch found in other Korean BBQ spots. The egg and tofu soup also needs some sprucing up due to its flatness and insufficient seasoning. Nevertheless, this aspect is manageable and leaves room for improvement. **Fair Evaluation in Perspective:** It's essential to recognize the strengths of Yukga while acknowledging areas that could be improved. The 4-star rating reflects a positive dining experience with commendable elements, albeit with tempered enthusiasm due to the shortcomings in the side dishes. **Conclusion:** Yukga Korean BBQ offers a delightful experience that will satisfy meat lovers and those seeking an authentic Korean BBQ experience. The meat selection is impressive, the culinary execution is excellent, and the atmosphere is inviting. While the sides could improve, they are consistent with the overall positive impression. If you're looking for a reliable spot to enjoy Korean BBQ, Yukga is worth a visit."
"Excellent Korean BBQ place. Absolutely love it! Highly recommend it. The quality of meat is so good. Every dish is excellent. I love its steam egg especially."
"Coming to Yukga, I had never before been to a KBBQ place before, always been an AYCE sushi type of gal. But this place knocked my socks off!!! We got the Premium option (100% worth it, especially if you aren’t planning to drink anything besides water), and the quality of every thing we received was incredible. The kimchi soup and green onion salads were great but the fried dumplings were easily the best!!!! Every staff member that passed made sure we were doing okay and were super helpful and sweet. The Ube ice cream popsicle was my favorite part!! We will definitely come back here!"
