"Great park to take a walk in. There are tons of apple trees you can pick from and there are nature trails behing the orchard that loop around the entire park."
"Great place to walk, picnic (rustic), and get professional photos done. Year round there's a path and it takes about 25-35 mins to walk the entire trail. You can launch a kayak near the parking lot, or drive down the road south a little further and launch from River Park kayak launch. In the summer the trail is very nicely manicured; in the spring the flowers are amazing; and there's apples in the fall :)"
"Lovely nature area- this reminds me of an enchanted forest. The trail is shady and wooded, near the river, and has a few spots that open onto the water which would be a pleasant spot to sit. The orchard area has a pollinator garden, which had several species of insect hard at work on the many flowers in bloom. There is a picnic table in the shade near the parking lot."
