"Buyer Beware! Just under 10 yrs ago we purchased a geo-thermal system for our home from Comfortec. We found out the hard way, (electrical burnout of our control panel) that it had been installed improperly. Comfortec fixed the problem and never apologized for their mistakes. We recently needed a repair to the compressor for the AC during a very hot weekend and the tech said that in 3 days, the office would call and set up an appointment. They never called. My husband called to find out when they'd be coming and the office person casually said, "We don't service your area anymore." What? We never received any notification saying their service area had changed. We trusted that they stood by their products and customers. Don't trust them. Thankfully, another HVAC company was more than willing to come quickly, service and repair our unit and we are very happy to change companies. Don't rely on Comfortec. They have proven not to be trustworthy. They do not service your systems for the lifetime of the unit. Go somewhere else."

"If this rating scale had a ten star I would give them a 10 star rating !! I am the chairman of the trustees for the United Methodist Church in Estherville, IA. Over the last couple of years this company has changed out 8 furnaces and 5 air conditioners. We still have some furnaces and A/C units to be changed in the future. The latest project they did for us was a complete re-plumbing of our sewer system. Both these projects were large projects in our eyes. We went out and got other bids for both projects and this company came in both times with the best price, best warranty and best service contract. The workers were very good at the installations, knowledge of products and cleaned up behind themselves and most of all they did both projects in a very timely manner !!! Throughout this summer the service crew spent countless hours and many trips to our education unit to work on our boiler system that has never worked correctly since it was installed several years ago. This last week I and one other trustee meet Jesse and Adam at our education unit and they went through the process that went on throughout this summer and explained how all the re-plumbing, new valves and pumps are now going to make this system work correctly and make service work so much easier. At the end of this meeting I asked what the cost of all of this was going to be and the bill was presented to us and it came to several thousands of dollars and the bottom line was highlighted with a total amount due $0.00. All the countless hours and materials was donated to us. Their is no way we the church members will ever be able to express and show our gratitude for everything this company Comfortec has done for us. I want to extend the largest THANK YOU that can be expressed.
