"I scheduled an appointment for Liberty Handyman to come out to my loft to mount a fireplace. It was a pretty simple job, as I ordered the fireplace online & just required a few screws for the mount, and then for the fireplace to be lifted onto the mount, which I couldn’t do myself. I called for the appointment on Wednesday for a Thursday evening appointment at 5pm. I got a confirmation email with my work order number. When Thursday evening rolled around, nobody had arrived, so I called around 5:15 and the dispatch acted as if I didn’t have an appointment but said they’d be right on it. Nobody reached out, so I called every hour until 7:30. Once I finally got on with the individual that was supposed to come out, I had to re-explain the entire job and was then told that he could come out, but wouldn’t be able to do it. He also told me a quoted out price for the job with a base fee that was different than the base fee originally given to me when I scheduled the appointment. By then, it was about 8pm, so I cancelled my appointment. I ended up doing this job myself, but was disappointed with my experience in attempting to use this service for help."

"I have used Liberty Handyman Services several times with positive results. This time, they patched a hole in a plaster wall and primed, matched and replaced a piece of aluminum capping near the roof line, and grouted a shower. The total cost of the service was very reasonable. The work was all done in a day, just two days after I called them. The site was cleaned up nicely."
