"I haven't used their service. I did call to get information to do so. I don't know if the woman who answered was in the middle of something. Semi rude, very short. Rushing me off of the phone. Clearly didn't care about getting my business. I assumed 6 dogs would have been nice to take in for 3 days."

"We have two dogs that need special attention due to one having serious dog aggression and the other being a professionally trained police k9. The first time I contacted Dover, I asked them so many question regarding their day to day operations. I wanted to make sure they understood our dogs “issues” and could handle them safely for not only our dogs, but all staff, and other dogs at the kennel. They were patient and walked me through their process and day to day. After my conversation with them, I felt comfortable boarding my dogs there. Since then, we have used Dover Kennel several times and every single time they have knocked it out of the park. This place is nothing fancy but I wouldn’t want my dogs anywhere else because I know staff has experience with all dog types and are trained to handle them. I always appreciate them and find myself thankful we have such a great kennel, so when we leave home we don’t have to worry."

"I have brought my dogs here no less than 20-30 times over an 8 year period. They are always professional and courteous and my dogs come home smelling great and happy. The picture I posted says it all: it's my dogs waiting excited by the door to get back to their kennel. I feel lucky to have a place like this so close. The one stars on here are from people that had their dogs impounded after escaping. I understand that people would be upset by the situation but it doesn't reflect on Dover's services at all."

"After we got our first dog, it was hard for me to leave him somewhere when we were on vacation because he was a rescue and I felt guilty. When I called around Dover was the first Kennel that said it was ok to come for a tour and see the facility. Mark was kind to answer all my nervous questions and made me feel at ease, leaving our rescue dog with them while on vacation. When we picked Max up, he seemed conflicted to come home with us or stay with the girls at Dover. They treated him like he was their own. Here we are 3 years later an another dog, Jill and Mark are like extended family. Their love for animals and kind hearts make it easy to leave our pets in their care while we vacation and can feel a peace that they are in wonderful hands. Our dogs are our kids and we would not trust them with just anyone. Dover is their home away from home and we love that feeling. Thanks Mark, Jill and all the staff for caring for our furbabies. "
