When my 3 children were very small, we went the community education route for swimming lessons. $40 got your child into a freezing pool with 5 other kids and teenager teacher too polite to demand listening and attention. Kids spent more time waiting for their turn than actually swimming. At Foss, my kids have been in classes with no more then 3 kids. My children rarely had time to stop and chat before they were swimming again, getting one-on-one tips from their teacher, who teaches swimming for a living. Don’t get me wrong. I need to consciously save the money to make sure my 3 kids can do one session every summer but it has paid off quickly! A small price to pay for a life long skill that also will save and enrich their lives. My life is also now fully enriched, I can push my kids into a pool, without fear of a felony charge."

"I can't recommend the new Foss Swim School in Burnsville highly enough! They've thought of everything that would make families comfortable in the facility, from multiple family changing rooms with toilets and showers to a play area for kids in the lobby. The pool area is large and fabulous for kids. Our grandsons (ages 2 and 3) love it. Maddie, the instructor, really makes swimming fun for the kids and has a wonderfully warm manner."
